Zuckerhütl
The Reserved One
Zuckerhütl means sugar loaf and its makes sense when you gaze at it from afar. At least when looking at it from the east it is a graceful and bold snowy peak, whereas from the other side it looks repelling, rocky and raw. The highest mountain in the Stubay valley is entirely on Tyrolean land with a very close proximity to Italy. Despite its impressive height of 3507 metres it has a more reserved flair to it. But be aware of its summit climb: one of the most cahllenging in the valley!
